The story of the first one hundred years of the University Club of Toronto. The members of this club have included some of the most important people in the history of Canada as well as some of the most interesting, if not the most famous. This compelling story, sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, gives the flavour of Toronto and the country as much as it does to the members and the vicissitudes of a private club in the face of a changing social environment.
